Torgeir is a lawyer and has been a deputy judge, and has later been running his own law firm for more than 30 years. Further, he has been working worldwide as a football agent and within sports since 1989 with great success. He has also has been negotiating sports media rights. He has a vast national and international network.

He is today, besides being a lawyer, a part of a number of companies as Founder/Director. In cooperation with The Nigerian Football Federation, UN, and Johan Cruyff Institute he is running a school and a team in Abuja, Nigeria. He is also a part of a number of other projects in Africa.
